David Gray has become a major star with the help of his smash hit album White Ladder, which contained the hits Please Forgive Me and Babylon and took three re-issues to set the world alight.
Gray's long-awaited follow-up, A New Day At Midnight was released last month. The first single to be taken from the album is the soon-to-be-released The Other Side.
After his UK dates, David's tour takes him into Europe. This is the first time that David has had to go out on the road with people having high expectations.
"I've never experienced anything like what's about to happen - I've never had to follow up a success," he admits.
"I suppose I'm looking forward to the gigs and going to new places where the records have done really well, like New Zealand and Australia. I'm looking forward to playing again because it's been a long time."
Bournemouth International Centre, November 9. Tickets: £21.50. Box office: 01202 456456.
