FAST, funky and furious aren't words commonly associated with Shakespeare plays. But this is the perfect description of Tremor Cordis' interpretation of the Bard's comedy, Much Ado About Nothing.
The play, subtitled Sex in the City of Medina, is set firmly in the modern-day equivalent of the leafy glades where Shakespeare's characters go to gossip - clubs, bars and, particularly, the ladies' and gents' loos.
And the setting is perfectly suited to the play, which could be taken straight out of a contemporary sitcom.
Who needs Friends when you've got Shakespeare?
