BASINGSTOKE gymnast Gemma Tydeman became the overall Southern Region Champion in the junior challenge section of the Southern Region Elite Championships, held at Maidenhead.
The talented youngster - who trains for 14 hours a week - was in a class of her own when she took the title with a personal best score of 29.250.
Tydeman also took the gold medal for the bars and a silver medal for the beam and floor.
Team-mate Phillippa Bolton was the overall runner-up in the competition, with a score of 28.150.
Bolton took the gold medal on floor and the bronze medals on vault and bars.
The girls are now working towards the National Challenge Cup, held at Rushmoor on November 23.
