FOUR young Andover friends were also involved in rescuing a man who had fallen face down into the River Anton near Andover's Cricklade College last week.
Brooke Sullivan, aged 11, Chelsey Palmer, aged 12, Jodie Palmer, aged 10, and Karina Davies, also 12, were in the midst of the action on Monday afternoon.
The Andover Advertiser told last week how nine-year-old Fahad Al-Dahimi was involved on the day of the rescue.
The four girls called for help before coming to the aid of adults who carried out the rescue from the water.
The man was put in the recovery position and the girls helped guide ambulance personnel to the scene.
They were walking to a friend's house in Artists Way when they came spotted the man in difficulty.
Brooke, Chelsey and Karina are pupils at Winton School. Jodie goes to Vigo Junior School.
