South coast law firm Lester Aldridge has announced the appointment of a new head of marketing.
Helen Prosser joins from a national firm of solicitors and will work as part of the management team in developing the firm in what is an increasingly competitive marketplace.
One of the factors attracting Helen to the post was the firm's track record.
Said Helen: "Last financial year, LA announced an impressive 22 per cent increase in turnover. This is against a backdrop of much smaller increases among the national players. The number of staff has grown by 50 per cent in only 18 months and, earlier this year, a further office was opened.
"This is a firm with a clear strategy and a total commitment to marketing."
She explained: "Roger Woolley, managing partner, believes that each person in the firm plays an equally important role in the success of the firm. Staff are involved in the decision- making process - without them there wouldn't be a business."
She heads a team of five marketing professionals at LA who work closely with each of the legal teams to ensure cohesion and progression. Joss Simpson, previous head of marketing, has taken on the newly-created post of head of client relationship management.
