Hansfords are starting to look as though they have the measure of the opposition in the Avon Valleys Winter League.
The Hansfords match group turned in another solid performance, which saw them finish second on the day to Sarfix Farnborough on the Kennet and Avon Canal at Marlborough.
Sarfix Farnborough scored an excellent 78 points with two section winners and five seconds with Hansfords recording 67, points which included two section winners and two seconds.
Godalming finished third on 59 points with Alans Marine fourth with 53. Others Farnham 49, Twyford 45, GTMG 40, MBK 34, Portsmouth 25.
With three rounds now fished, Hansfords sit clear at the top of the league with four penalty points from Sarfix Farnborough on seven and Alans Marine on nine - and the title race looks certain to involve just these three sides.
Others: Farnham and Godalming 13, Twyford 17, GTMG 22, Portsmouth 24, MBK 25.
Individually, weights were poor with Godalming taking the top three individuals.

Cormorants Club Match on Mike Smith's Hordle Complex saw a return to winning ways for Cormorants Team Sillybaits Steve Rochester, who demolished his field with a massive 74lb 8oz of carp from just short of caravan point on Bobs Lake on waggler, band and pellet in open water.
Rochester took carp to 15lb in his haul.
Team mate Richie Yeo finished second with a 52lb 4oz bag of smaller carp taken from behind the island on the feeder and maggot with feeder specialist Terry Bremble third with 33lb 10oz of carp.

The Hants, Wilts and Dorset Winter League due for the Dorset Stour at Gains Cross was cancelled after a captain's meeting on the morning of the match deemed the venue unsafe due to flooding.
The reserve date is now January 12 on the Kennet and Avon Canal at Pewsey, which certainly won't be as big a lottery as an out of sorts Dorset Stour.
Ryeslip Angling held a match on Longbridge Lake with Keith Ackorman winning with 57lb 15oz from peg 24 to take bream, carp and tench on maggot and worm.
Dave Hughes finished second on peg 14 with 28lb 13oz of skimmers and tench again on maggot and worm and third Dick Forty on peg 40 with skimmers, tench, crucians and carp for 26lb 5oz on maggot and worm.
