New Street U14 'B' 1, Hatch Warren 2
Andover New Street Under-14's 'B team produced their best performance of the season and were unlucky to go behind midway through the second half. Kirsty Wise finished well to level the scores but Hatch Warren won the game with a winning goal in the second period of extra time. Maria Smith almost snatched another equaliser when her strike went inches wide and Fiona Ward was also unlucky not to finish on the score sheet with several close attempts. Kayleigh Price was excellent in defence and Tia O'Hara and Lisa Hart also had impressive games in a fine team display.
Basingstoke 1,New Street U12 'A' 9
Andover New Street Under-12's 'A' led 4-0 at half time with two goals from Brooke Harris and one a piece from Michelle Todd and Naomi Wallace. In the second half Todd added a second, Harris completed her hat trick, Lauren Webb grabbed a fine brace and Josie Osman also scored. Captain Lauren Murphy was brilliant in defence and Charlotte Hull gave another confident display in goal. The Basingstoke 'keeper made some great saves to keep the scoreline down.
Newbury 4, New Street U12 'B' 3
Newbury took an early lead but Andover New Street Under-12's 'B' team soon levelled through Sam Jarman who finished well after combining with Eve Whittingham. Newbury added two goals more to lead 3-1 at half time and they added a fourth after the break, but Jarman struck again and almost got a third when hitting the bar, but Kelly Chapman quickly hit home the rebound. Kirsty Price was outstanding and Stevie Parker's interceptions started many of the Street attacks.
