A CORNER of Eastleigh's High Street museum was a hive of Chinese creative activity.
Youngsters were invited to put their own finishing touches to a touring exhibition by the Chinese Arts Centre.
As part of a half-term series of children's craft days, the young painters were able to create their own Chinese-style designs on plates.
Called Made in China, the exhibition, which opened in August and has just finished, showcased the work of key Chinese designers.
In recent years China has been inundated with western design - everything from McDonald's to Levi jeans, Mercedes cars, white weddings and Gucci handbags.
The exhibition looked at the impact this meeting of cultures had on Chinese designers.
