Chrysanthemums by the door, windows like jades
Filtering evening's sun as it slowly fades.
Across Tokyo Bay we gaze and talk again,
Remembering the bad times, forgetting all the pain.
This is Yokohama, my friend of many years.
We are still together, in spite of all the tears;
Now we are together, now we are one
In that distant land of the ever-rising sun.
