SHOPPERS in Weston will have a new-look venue for getting their
groceries from next week, as a re-furbished Co-op store opens its doors again.
The shop on Weston Lane has just undergone a £200,000 re-fit to equip it with a stylish new look and modern decor and will re-open next Thursday.
Customers should benefit from a far wider choice of goods with the store now boasting more than 2,000 sq ft of space and the shop will be open from 8am until 10pm daily.
The Co-operative group says the store's emphasis will be on fresh foods and it will also have its own in-house bakery to ensure there's always a supply of fresh bread.
Store manager Richard Pead said: "The new-look supermarket will provide a modern shopping environment and a comprehensive range to meet all the daily food needs of the community."
