SAUSAGES galore will be on offer at one Warsash butcher to mark the start of National Sausage Week.
Butcher Trevor Harvey hopes to tempt visitors' tastebuds with a selection of hot and spicy pork, leek, garlic and turkey varieties at a free tasting session.
As well as more unusual venison sausages, Mr Harvey will also be offering up good old-fashioned plain pork bangers.
The 53-year-old will be holding a free sausage-tasting session outside Harvey's Butchers in Warsash Road on Saturday from midday until 2.30pm.
"Many people are under the impression sausages should only be eaten with a fry-up for breakfast," he said. "But they make a good meal any time of the day."
Mr Harvey has run the village's only butcher's for the last 14 years.
