PUNK upstarts Kids Near Water met at the Exeter Cavern Clubs Millennium Eve party, forming from the members of two different bands.
Having joined forces, they released a debut EP which caught the attention of local label Firefly. Since then the band have released a string of EPs, all well-received, although the boys remain a tad modest."There are loads of bands better than us," lead singer Simon was reported as saying. He's wrong of course. If their performances to date are anything to go by, Kids Near Water are destined for a bright future.
