The chasing pack in Hampshire Division Two will have their ears to the ground this weekend as the top two clash on the Isle of Wight as Ellingham & Ringwood visit the Wootton Recreation Ground for the first time.
Whoever loses will open the door for the likes of Fawley or Fordingbridge and Island rivals Ventnor to put pressure on the promotion chasing pair.
Unbeaten and two points clear, Richard Beardsall's Islanders are at full strength, with the recall of Dave New at prop and Nick Puckett in the back line.
Fleet try-hero Dave Metcalfe drops to the bench while there is a doubt over Alex Woodbridge's inclusion there also.
Ellingham, who will be without their captain and fly-half Martin Chaldecott for the rest of the season, will have to improve, especially as a Fawley second XV whipped a mixed first and second side 86-0 just six days ago.
Fawley or Fordingbridge would be the recipients if either slip up, especially if it was the Picket Post club.
But the latter are hit by injuries, especially in the backs where they "are dropping like flies at the moment."
Scott Perry and Dave Gogin have joined the backs' casualty list, while the forwards record a full bill of health.
Fawley recall Ian Cromar and Andy Burden to their forwards in the only change to that on duty beating Lytchett Minster last weekend. Pete Lewis and Rob Griffiths are the unavailable pair making way for their inclusion.
