NORTHERN Stage Ensemble bring their version of the classic George Orwell novel 1984 to Winchester next month.
The chilling tale of one man's rebellion against an oppressive regime which controls everything from language to thought, fuses music, physical theatre and large-scale projection filmed on location in Moscow.
Northern Stage Ensemble's previous hits include daring productions of Animal Farm and A Clockwork Orange.
You can see 1984 at the Theatre Royal Winchester from November 19 to 23. Performances are at 7.30pm, with a 2.30pm matinee on the Thursday. Tickets cost from £10. For more information, call the box office on 01962 840440.
