CASH aid is waiting in the wings for young people or groups in Eastleigh borough taking part in music, drama, fine arts, dance or general youth activities.
The helping financial hand is being offered by The Arts and Youth Trust for Eastleigh and applications are being invited now.
The financial support would go towards providing equipment, training or tuition fees.
Applicants must be under 25 and resident in the borough of Eastleigh. They should be active in youth activities ranging from Scouts and Guides to studying the arts.
And the arts field could cover learning an instrument, studying acting, dancing, painting, sculpture and backstage work involving operating lighting, make-up or design and making scenery. Prospective applicants are asked to note that sports of any kind are specifically excluded under the terms of the charity. Anyone interested should apply to Councillor Martin Kyrle, secretary to the Trustees, 16, Park Road, Chandler's Ford, Eastleigh SO53 2EU enclosing a stamped addressed envelope.
