Keith Crowcombe, the new owner of Prontaprint Southampton situated on Commercial Road in the city, is no stranger to the printing industry. On leaving school, he worked as an apprentice printer and went on to open his own printing firm specialising in the litho printing process.
"I have always enjoyed running my own business and being my own boss so when the opportunity arose to purchase the Prontaprint centre in Southampton I thought it was a great opportunity to try my hand at managing a print franchise," explains Keith.
Keith has recently purchased brand new printing equipment, giving him and his team the capability to offer a broad range of services to the region's business community including large format printing, creative design, business copying and document finishing.
"The fact that the Prontaprint brand is synonymous with quality and service made the company an ideal candidate. I carried out significant research into franchising opportunities and discovered that Prontaprint is recognised as a business Superbrand which reinforced the positive image I had of the brand. There is massive potential for the centre and, with the substantial support I have already received from Prontaprint, I am determined to further expand the existing business and build on its success."
"This sort of backing from Prontaprint Limited is particularly important as it enables us to provide clients with the very highest levels of service and quality customer care.
"We can also ensure that products are delivered on time every time. I also find myself in the enviable position of being able to develop the existing client database as well as continuing to service loyal customers from my previous print business," continues Keith.
"There is great potential for us to assist local businesses by providing complete print solutions such as colour printing, business stationery, litho print and in-house design. I am looking forward to growing the franchise and making this venture a huge success for everyone involved," concludes Keith.
