SOUTHAMPTON'S Fleeing New York celebrate their first EP with a date at The Joiners Arms.
The three tracks on the EP were recorded at the Harmonic Distillery in the summer and represent the strongest material yet from the threesome.
"We've been working really hard to get a sound in the studio that's got all the raw energy of our live performance," says singer Russell Marsden.
"At the same time, we've been polishing our live performances, so that it's as slick as our CD recordings."
Fleeing New York will be performing their Hallowe'en gig alongside signed band The Young Knives.
The Joiners, Southampton, October 31. Tickets: £4. Box office: 023 8022 5612.
