IT MUST have been one of Ikon's busiest Sunday nights yet.
Hundreds of clubbers cast aside thoughts of going back to work on Monday morning to see top boy band Blue making an appearance ahead of their 2002 UK Arena Tour.
The boys were in town as a warm-up gig before the tour kicks off on November 22.
They had everyone dancing to four hits from their debut album All Rise - the title track, plus Fly By, Too Close and If You Come Back.
And if last night's response to their new release One Love is anything to go by, their next album is sure to be another major success.
Blue - Simon, Antony, Lee and Duncan - have certainly got plenty of adoring female fans in Southampton, and of all ages.
But the biggest disappointment for the crowd at Ikon was that - after a long wait - they didn't perform longer than about 15 minutes.
