Trojans had five of their team representing South East Division at Alton, where they beat South West Division 12-5.
Trojans had winger Liz Poultney, centre Sarah Conlon and flanker Jade Scott starting with Kat Wood on the bench and Kelly Aaron sidelined due to injury.
Wood came on for the last half an hour and transformed he way the South East played as they ran into headstrong winds.
The South East Division overcame gale-force winds in a closely fought game with two tries coming from Conlon and Poultney with a conversion from Hannah Bradley.
Running rugby was the vision of both teams and the South East Division now travel to the Midlands in three weeks time.
A win would take them through to the final of the Regional Championship.
