SUPPORT continues to grow for the Daily Echo's Be Safe, Be Sensible campaign.
To further raise awareness among Southampton's student population, Lennon's nightclub and the Dorchester Arms, in Onslow Road, near Bevois Valley, are now displaying the safety awareness posters.
Two posters can be seen in both venues, which have weekend 2am licences, in the hope that people, especially students, stop to think about how they are getting home late at night.
Owner Mary Lennon feels that too many students go off oblivious to dangers posed to them on the city's streets.
Mrs Lennon said: "We get quite a lot of students in and they don't seem to take too much care at night when they are leaving."
