WHILE rumours of a Led Zeppelin reunion are still rife, the band's former frontman Robert Plant is happy enough getting on with his own projects.
Plant released his solo album, Dreamland, earlier this year and admits that for the first time in years, he really enjoyed writing and recording.
"It's the fastest album I've ever made and I think I laughed more in the two weeks that it took than I have done for a long time." he says.
"When you do what you really want to do and the pressure's off, you can't help but enjoy it."
Robert is touring with his band, the Strange Sensations, who he unveiled at this year's Isle Of Wight Festival, but what can fans expect from his Portsmouth show?
"It depends on the night. I mean, It's very free-form. You'll hear quite a bit off this album, some solo stuff, quite a few Led Zeppelin transformations - it's good!"
Portsmouth Guildhall, October 27. Tickets: £20. Box office: 023 9282 4355.
