THE world would be a different place if everyone enjoyed their job as much as Glenn Tilbrook.
The former Squeeze frontman will be doing what he likes best at the Wedgewood Rooms on Sunday - playing an improvised set and even taking requests.
"I started my one-man show about ten years ago in my local pub and it's kind of gone on from there," says Tilbrook.
"I really love the intimacy and versatility of playing to a small crowd. I play whatever I want to and go down all kinds of avenues. It's nice."
Glenn usually performs Squeeze classics such as Up the Junction and Labelled with Love alongside hits from his solo album, The Incomplete Glenn Tilbrook.
Wedgewood Rooms, Portsmouth, October 27. Performance: 8pm. Tickets: from £10. Box office: 023 9286 3911.
