TELEVISION star Rolf Harris has put his artistic talents to good use while raising money for a Hampshire charity.
The celebrity, who presents Animal Hospital, has designed the Christmas card to be used by Wessex Heartbeat, the support charity of Southampton General Hospital's Wessex Cardiac Unit.
Rolf created a winter scene and also donated the original oil painting, called 'Home is Where the Heart is', for the charity to auction.
Tonight Wessex Heartbeat will celebrate its tenth anniversary with a glittering gala ball at the De Vere Grand Harbour Hotel in Southampton.
On Sunday, November 3, the charity will stage a star-studded show at the Mayflower Theatre in the city, where the guests of honour will be the Earl and Countess of Wessex, Prince Edward and his wife Sophie.
The Daily Echo is sponsoring the show and tickets have been selling fast.
Wessex Heartbeat chief executive Alan Blair said: "We were amazed at Rolf's generosity.
"This is our tenth anniversary as a charity and we are delighted that all three cards we have launched are in demand and sales are up by 40 per cent compared to this time last year."
Anyone interested in supporting the charity by buying the cards, or tickets to the Mayflower Gala Show, can find out more information from Wessex Heartbeat on 023 8079 6679.
Orders for cards must be placed by November 30.
