The removal from the records of Romsey's 22-17 win over Guernsey a fortnight ago has meant that New Milton & District's home clash with Farnborough is now a top of Hampshire Division 1 clash instead of third against second.
Romsey have dropped to third with the two-point winning claim deducted, so go to Fareham Heathens looking to regain a place in the top two.
Milton, on a high following their outstanding success over Trojans last weekend in the Intermediate Cup, will fancy their chances of going to the summit of the league when they host the new leaders.
The hosts are boosted by the return to fitness of former Tottonians lock Andy Harding, who joins his ex-teammate Steve Broomfield for the first time. Broomfield moves across to outside centre, while Dan Oliver goes to the wing instead.
Romsey were given a mighty scare last season when the Heathens pulled them to within one point on their own patch, so they will be cagey when they visit Cams Alders to face Mark Steward's resurgent side.
The hosts, who have improved from their early season slump, include John Caulfield for the first time in league action at number eight, where he replaces the unavailable Ed Monk. Mark Dunning is brought in at scrum-half and teenager Mitchell Stone switches to the wing.
Nightclub bouncer Wayne Barugh returns from a week away as Steward considers this a test of his side's development.
"Romsey have gone well and this is always a good fixture. With the run of the ball and determination on our part, we could better that close defeat," he said.
Romsey are forced into a couple of changes with Phil Heaven's unavailability allowing Simon Coe the number 15 jersey, despite Nick Creal's impressive performances in the second XV. South African Justin Jeffrey is back at number eight after injury.
Millbrook have the Guernsey travel blues as their back division is decimated by illness and injury for the flight to the Channel Islands.
Jason Harris, Joe Marler-Hausen and skipper Mike Mulcahy are all named in the 17-man travelling squad but all are rated doubtful. Work may sideline Harris, Marler-Hausen has been suffering from 'flu and Mulcahy has a late fitness test on a thigh muscle tear.
With prop Shannon Passingham likely to be out for a month and veteran pair Martin Colmer and Ian Copeland not available, it leaves manager Alan Day with a Friday-night headache before the early morning Southampton journey.
Hamble need a win at bottom-placed Nomads while Eastleigh were not naming their starting line-up until after last night's training session, as they have several concerns before they go to Sandown & Shanklin.
Fawley name a 24-man list from which they will select their side for the return trip to Lytchett Minster in Hampshire Division 2, and skipper Andy Headley is looking to overturn the cup reverse inflicted by the Dorset side six days ago.
He is aiming to use the experience of players like Gary Lock and Simon Blann, while mixing it up with the speedy youngsters to hit Lytchett in areas he has targeted following last week.
"I will definitely use what I saw last week but, with so many players available, I can get the exact team I want to beat them," commented Headley.
Fordingbridge have all the wedding guests back in the fold for the sea-trip across the Solent to play Ventnor at Watcombe Bottom, while Isle of Wight should extend their lead at the top when they go to bottom-placed Fleet.
Brockenhurst & Lymington are honouring their cancelled league fixture with Stoneham Park, so the latter are taking the chance to experiment and build on the positives in their 39-5 defeat to Sussex Police in the Junior Vase last weekend.
