Hampshire's first home game back in Division Two of the Frizzell County championship in 2003 will be against Yorkshire, one of the two other sides to be relegated last season.
But the first two games of the season will both be away from home, when Shane Warne will be touring the West Indies with Australia.
Will Kendall is likely to skipper Hampshire in Warne's absence against Worcestershire at New Road, against Glamorgan in Cardiff and against Sussex in the C&G Trophy - three days after Hampshire Hawks begin their National League campaign against their south coast neighbours on May 4.
Both of those games against Sussex will be played at home, with the highlight of the summer the first one day international to be staged at the Rose Bowl between Zimbabwe and South Africa on July 10.
Hampshire will host Zimbabwe three weeks before that match, with Pakistan also set to visit the Rose Bowl for the first time on June 11.
