The Weyhill Fair was the venue recently for the first meeting of what will soon become the revived Andover Ladies Circle.
The club, which offers to broaden the social activities of young women aged between 18 and 45, will initially meet once a month although this may change.
This first exploratory meeting was a success, with seven women discussing what they would like to get out of the new club. In addition to those who attended the first meeting, a further six have indicated their intention to join and the prospects for Circle in Andover look very good.
The club's activities will depend upon the wishes of its members and it is likely it will evolve over the years, as new people join and indicate their preferences about what they would like to do.
Billed as 'Round Table for the girls' the circle invariably attracts people from many different backgrounds.
