THE curry bus pulled into Southampton yesterday, to raise money for the charity Action Against Hunger.
The prominent red bus has been sponsored by Indian lager-company Kingfisher and is travelling across the country as part of World Curry Week.
The bus is highlighting and raising money for the charity's work by selling recipe books and curry cooking tips.
The charity's aim is to ensure that some of the most destitute communities in the world have access to food in a bid to stop people dying from hunger in the 21st century.
The tour of Southampton finished in Queensway outside POSH. British Colonial Restaurant, which is proud of its health-conscious chefs.
Money for the charity will be generated from several sources, including participating restaurants donating a proportion of takings.
A spokesman for Kingfisher, said: "Although the reason for the week- long celebration is very serious Kingfisher World Curry Week will be full of fun."
