CHILBOLTON rally driver Justin Dale will be well supported by family and friends when he bid farewell to the British Championship in the Michelin South of England Tempest Stages in Aldershot this weekend before he heads off to compete with the big boys in the World Championships.
The Aldershot based event does not count towards the British drivers' championships but that won't put off Dale as he sees the events as an opportunity for a final attack in his last outing as a Peugeot works drivers.
"The Tempest rally means a lot to me since it is the most local to my home town and I will have lots of fans and family supporting me.
The Tempest Rally roars into action this Saturday lunchtime with a civic start in the centre of Aldershot, followed by six speed tests in and around the region taking in Army territory around Aldershot and a further 10 stages on Sunday.
