Hamble Old Boys walloped Richings Park 9-1 in the first round of the EHA Trophy - but then got a second phase draw they hardly wanted.
"We've been drawn away to Wisbech - a four-hour Sunday morning slog I don't think we'll altogether relish," commented skipper Paul Barber.
But there were few complaints when Hamble took their weekend's goal spree to 15 after putting the visitors to the sword.
Paul's brother Steve followed up his previous day's Regional League hat-trick against Andover with another two goals against Richings Park, who were totally outclassed.
Second XI skipper Mark Sandall (2), Matt Spencer, Rory and Duncan Marsh, and Dave Foster all got their names on the Old Boys scoresheet.
