Shine launch Party, Jumpin' Jaks
JUMPIN Jaks was transformed last night from a slightly cheesy club to one of the coolest live music venues in Southampton, thanks to the Shine launch party.
The new monthly night saw indie favourites Shed Seven headline to a delighted crowd of music fans.
Rick Witter was in fine form, belting out everybody's favourite hits and bantering with the crowd.
The band fed off the audience's enthusiasm and were quite happy to welcome a new, albeit temporary, addition to the band when a fan stormed the stage.
Shed Seven proved why they deserve a place alongside Oasis and the Charlatans in the music hall of fame, belting out hits including Disco Down, Going For Gold, Dolphin and the stunning Chasing Rainbows.
They also performed several new songs, dispelling rumours that the band are splitting up.
