Lymington & New Milton striker Kevin Gill is back at the club after spending two days training with Premiership giants Chelsea.
The 19-year-old attracted interest after firing 13 goals for the Wessex League club this season.
If he had been a year younger, Lymington boss Graham Kemp insisted the Blues would have awarded Gill a one-year contract in order to play him in their youth team.
"He's a year too old," Kemp said. "He could only have played in their reserves, and the fact Chelsea have six internationals in the reserves makes it obvious he would struggle to get in that side!"
Lymington return to league action tonight at home to Cowes Sports with Kemp making just one change to the side that defeated Walton Casuals 5-2 at the weekend in the Vase.
Goalkeeper Alan Walker-Harris returns between the sticks after missing the Vase tie through suspension.
Lymington have been drawn away in the second round to the winners of the Fairford v Team Bath tie.
Team Bath are coached by former Saint Paul Tisdale, and include another ex-Saint in striker Chris Lewis.
They have reached the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup, having thrashed Bemerton 6-1 en route.
Kemp said: "I'm presuming Bath will win, so it will be a tough tie. But the days of easy ties once you get past the first round are gone."
Cowes Sports have been drawn away to Screwfix Direct League champions Bideford in the second round of the Vase.
"It's a bloody long way," quipped boss Derek Ohren when asked for his thoughts on the tie.
"I'm not too worried about the opposition. I'm more concerned about what state we're going to be in when we get there!
"Bideford only beat Gosport 3-1 in the FA Cup recently, so that gives me a bit of hope.
"They're not the same standard as the likes of Taunton and Tiverton that played in that league and who won the Vase."
Cowes strikers Phil McDonald and Lawrence Edmondson both picked up injuries in Saturday's 2-1 Vase win at Kent side Westwood Park and are doubtful tonight.
Gary Streeter continues in goal in place of Ian Lloyd while Sam Hart is rated 50/50 after suffering a heel injury on Saturday.
Eastleigh boss Paul Doswell welcomed his side's FA Vase second round draw at home to Porthleven and admitted: "We fancy anyone at home!"
The ambitious Wessex League side face the Cornishmen at Ten Acres on November 9, and Doswell hasn't had to look far for a rundown on Porthleven.
Brian Green hails from Cornwall and will be returning to his home county soon to spy on the club who once made the quarter-finals of the Vase.
"It's a tough draw, but they are only mid-table in their league so we won't be quaking in our boots," said Doswell, whose side spanked 2000 winners Deal 4-0 at Ten Acres on Saturday.
"We fancy our chances against anyone at home, and it would be nice to have a long Vase run.
"But Bideford have a good squad and Enfield Town seem to be making noises about doing well. It won't be easy.
"Having said that, the Wessex League is the one we want to win. We're home to Newbury on Saturday - that's first v second - and it would be nice to see a good crowd there."
Totton boss Ian Robinson will get an easy chance to spy on FA Vase opponents Andover when the two teams clash in the Wessex League this weekend.
Totton's reward for a 5-1 first round win at Kent club VCD Athletic last weekend was a home tie against Andover, who visit Robinson's men this weekend, on November 9.
Andover defeated Wessex League high-fliers Newbury 3-1 at the weekend helped by a Justin Bennett brace.
Totton travel to Christchurch tonight in a Jewson Wessex League match aiming to continue their unbeaten league start.
Robinson, who watched Christchurch lose 4-0 at Eastleigh recently, welcomes centre half Danny Barker back into the squad as he was cup-tied last weekend.
Striker Mark Ofman remains a doubt due to a heel injury.
Christchurch, who have been drawn at home to Screwfix Direct League First Division club Torrington in the second round of the Vase, are minus striker Dominic Taylor tonight as he is on holiday.
Centre half Anthony Sykes is a doubt after twisting his ankle during last weekend's 4-2 Vase win over Tuffley, so Phil Langdown is added to the squad after a six-week injury and holiday absence.
"Totton are a big strong side," said joint Christchurch boss Nigel Cripps. "I just hope our lads are up for it."
Totton did the double over Christchurch last season and also beat them 4-1 earlier this season.
"That wasn't a fair reflection," recalled Cripps. "At 2-1 down we mullered them for 20 minutes before they broke away for a third goal. Then we gave away a stupid penalty."
Blackfield & Langley boss Terry Smith is hoping for a change of luck as his side travel to Bemerton tonight.
Blackfield shipped two injury-time goals to draw 2-2 with lowly Downton at the weekend.
That forced Smith to comment: "Our luck seems to be changing, apart from our luck with referees.
"I don't know where the ref got all that time added on on Saturday. Each physio was only on the pitch once."
Striker Roger Maynard and defender Jimmy Hooper are added to tonight's squad.
Brockenhurst welcome Portland tonight still missing key players through injury and suspension.
But boss Pete Moore welcomes back midfielder Paul Maloney, who has been unavailable for a fortnight, and defender Tom Burgess, who has served a one-week ban.
"It's the same old story tonight," said Moore. "We are having to scrap to get results.
"The Vase tie last weekend was a battle. We didn't play well; we haven't played well for a few weeks now.
"If you lose one or two players you can probably cope with that; when you lose five or six influential players it becomes very hard.
"I need to get a settled side but I can't see that happening for a few weeks."
Brock have been drawn at home to Bemerton in an all-Wessex League Vase second round tie.
"Any side managed by Steve Slade will be competitive, so it's going to be hard," said Moore.
"Bemerton have had some good Vase runs recently. We beat them 3-1 away earlier this season but I would have preferred to play a non-Wessex League side."
