JUSTIN ROSE has a yen for another taste of the Japanese golf scene and jets off there next week.
Last time he was in Japan, the 22-year-old Hampshire player won the Crown Masters.
The Japanse took to the young "Lose" so well that he been invited back for two of their biggest events.
Before jetting off to Tokyo, Rose takes a few days well-earned rest after a turbulent year which peaked with four tournament wins but hit a tragic low with the death of his dad, Ken, on September 9.
"He's pretty drained," said his mother Annie. "His dad's death has hit us all very hard. Justin hasn't felt like doing anything but was something like his old self again at the World Match Play Championship last week."
Rose, currently 40th in the world standings, won't return to the European Tour until November 7 when he plays in the Volvo Masters at Valderrama.
On a tragically ironic note Rose's caddie Mick Dolan wasn't carrying his bag at Wentworth last week. His father, too, has just passed away.
