Arts Marketing Hampshire is launching a new service for the visually-impaired.
The audio describer is said to be state-of-the-art, lightweight and compact enough to be carried in a small case. Each set can have up to 10 earpieces.
The equipment is suitable for outdoor events as its range means the describer can be some distance from the listener.
The service will be launched at the theatre Royal, Winchester, today Friday, October 18th at a performance of Molire's comedy, The Misanthrope, at 7.30pm.
To book the audio-described performance, ring the theatre box office on 01962-840440
