PHOTOGRAPHER Malcolm Nethersole has won the staff category of the Daily Echo writing competition for the second time - and with only his second-ever story.
Malcolm's latest winner, a comedy story, said by judge David Nobbs "to show real talent" earned him a cheque for £50 which Malcolm has put towards the cost of a computer.
He now intends to take David's advice to take his writing seriously.
Malcolm said: "I was surprised when I heard I'd won again. I thank David for his encouraging words and I will persevere with my efforts. I'm writing a story with a festive theme at the moment."
