Eastleigh return to the scene of great triumph and great disappointment - all on the same day - tomorrow, as they travel to play Ventnor in the Powergen Junior Vase second round.
It was at the picturesque ground on the southern island cliff edge that they secured promotion to Hampshire Division One back in April, despite losing 18 points to five - New Milton beating Isle of Wight meant the Bishopstoke side still went up.
As that result showed, Eastleigh will find it hard to break down the ever-improving blue and whites, and they will find them still smarting from the defeat to their deadly Island rivals last weekend.
The visitors do, though, welcome back Joe Butler from a four-week suspension following his sending-off at Romsey, while Nick Ashton moves across the front row to hooker and Rob Smith returns to the second row, allowing Colin McArdle his flanker place back.
Gary Lovell is given a game in the centre instead of groin-tear victim Wayne Hayward which club chairman Brian Russell-Taylor describes as "a very difficult game against a side normally hard to beat at home."
Nick Wright's wedding celebrations sees Fordingbridge host fellow Hampshire Division Two side Portcastrians without at least five players but they still name a side which should be strong enough to dispose of the Dorset visitors.
Adam Dennett hands over the captaincy to Steve Evans in his absence, while the Foresters are still without long-term casualties John Stockley and Gary Evans.
Fawley have the first of two visits in the space of eight days into unknown territory as they travel to Lytchett Minster for their second round tie, but captain Andy Headley is more interested in sizing up the opponents ahead of the league game next week.
Having never met the Dorset side, he admits knowing little of them but will learn plenty as his side, without prop Pete Cook (shoulder) and Simon Blann (ankle) view them to see what they have to offer.
"I would rather rest the players that are carrying injuries for the cup game rather than the much more important league game next week," said Headley.
Lucky Stoneham Park have been given a second bite of the Junior Vase cherry as Overton fielded an ineligible player in their 39-3 victory over the Eastleigh-based outfit in the first round and have been disqualified.
Stoneham now meet Sussex Police, from Sussex Three, but the home side will be without captain Tiernan Simmons, out with a torn quad for three weeks, so John King takes over the captaincy.
