Eric Bibb made a stunning performance before a full crowd of mesmerised fans.
The sell-out gig was predominantly relaxed, soulful blues and gospel, performed with real passion. Bibb's poetic lyrics led the whole show and he sang them all with unfailing clarity.
Not a heart was left untouched when he sang Circles; a song about a man's lost journey through life. Champagne Habits (on a beer salary) provided more light hearted entertainment with lines such as "I don't mind taking a bus, but a Limo's much less fuss."
Eric has the voice of an angel, warm, smooth and pristine. He was immaculately dressed and wore his trademark Panama hat.
Other songs in the set were from his coming album, as well as older tunes including Tell Ol' Bill, Sebastian's Tune and the driving gospel sounds of Hallelujah, which gave an explosive end to the set.
