Aaron Walker was the toast of Fareham after cracking a second-half hat-trick in the club's thrilling 5-4 South Premier League win over Eastcote - and then hitting a golden goal EHA Cup winner against Woking.
Walker's hat-trick gave Fareham their first league win, while his extra-time winner earned the Bath Lane club a plum home cup tie against National Leaguers, Guildford.
Walker's Premier league threesome helped Fareham claw back a 1-2 deficit against Eastcote, who had fallen behind early on to Dan Makaruk.
Dave Cousins made it 2-2 at half-time before Walker scored twice to give Fareham a 4-2 advantage. Eastcote, beaten 6-3 by leaders Oxted in their opening game, hit back to level at 4-4, but conceded a second consecutive defeat after Walker's third seven minutes from time.
The former Andover midfielder was Fareham's hero again in the EHA Cup, hitting a golden goal winner just 22 seconds into extra-time against Woking.
Fareham twice went ahead, initially through Dave Cousins, then Jim Moseley, but each time Woking hit back.
But there was no reprieve for the Surrey visitors when Walker's golden touch gave Fareham an extra-time winner.
