New Milton & District maintained their high-scoring trend by demolishing Hamble 39-6 with five tries in the last quarter.
It was a very controlled performance by the Foresters, especially in the second half after they were twice reduced to 14 men when Watcyn Lewis and Heath Abbott found themselves under the cosh of the referee - Lewis' ten-minute rest coming after just three minutes!
Steve Broomfield's electric score was the pick of the second half scores, as Milton kept hold of their second position. But they know they have a major test ahead of them with Trojans in the cup next week, before the home visit of Farnborough in a fortnight.
