SOUTHAMPTON pop fans can get up close and personal with heartthrob boy band Blue when they appear at a city nightclub.
The band are giving local fans the chance to get a sneak preview of their live show before embarking on a nationwide tour.
The group, famed for debut hit All Rise, will appear at the Ikon and Diva nightclub at Leisure World on Sunday, October 27.
Just 18 months ago the band burst on the music scene with All Rise, which reached number four in the UK charts, and scooped the Best Newcomer award at the Brits.
The next two singles, Too Close and If You Come Back, were equally successful, both topping the charts.
The band's debut album, All Rise, has also seen phenomenal chart success, selling more than one million copies in the UK alone.
Ikon Diva manager Bill Dearsley is pleased with his coup.
He said: "This promises to be a great night out. We are really lucky to be able to get the boys before they start their tour of the country and major arena venues.
"We will be able to promise an up close and personal experience for people who come here on the 27th." Tickets, priced £15, are available from the club on 023 8033 3003.
