Tottonians remain in second place and unbeaten in the division, but they could still do a lot better, according to their vice-captain and county lock Ali Ramus.
They were certainly happy to stretch the winning run to four with a 31-7 triumph over Old Emanuel, but for long periods of the game they made unforced errors and that is some concern for Bob Millard and his coaching team.
Totts cruised into a 12-0 lead in the opening nine minutes but had to wait until the closing minutes of the half before their next score through Paul Goodall's quickly-taken tap penalty, and then until the last quarter before closing out the match completely.
"The victory was good, but we still have to really click," said Ramus, the second of the five try scorers. "There were periods of the game where we were awesome, but we cannot seem to sustain those periods for any longer than five minutes at a time.
"It is just a question of getting it right on the day, but someone is going to get the tail end of this frustration soon and they will know about it when they do."
