Forty four yachts entered the Royal Southampton Yacht Club's Winter Series first Race on Sunday 13th October.
The Committee Boat was positioned near Royal Southampton buoy on the Fawley shore. At the start the wind was southeasterly 10 knots increasing to 33 knots. Racing was in four classes - Multihulls, IRC 1, 2 and Club-rated Class.
