A CHANDLER'S FORD primary school has been throwing open its doors to the neighbours.
St Swithun Wells Catholic Primary School's open day gave the local community a chance to see the children at work and play.
The visitors, who included Eastleigh mayor Councillor Gillian Connell, were also entertained by a musical recital with hand bells and recorders.
Head teacher John di Meo said the open day gave the local community an opportunity to see the wide range of activities at the school.
He said: "We encourage families, including grandparents, who may have had early connections with the school, to come in and have a look round."
Visitors were also shown the facilities in the St Swithun's popular After School Club.
