SEXY stars Jennifer Lopez and Britney Spears are among a galaxy of famous people who have given their celebrity backing to a Hampshire school's fundraising drive.
TV entertainer Rolf Harris has also got in the swing of things by donating a signed sketch of himself. It will be among more than 100 lots at a charity auction in Hampshire.
Rolf, 72, drew a picture of himself playing a didgeridoo to help a group of parents raise cash for Hyde Church of England Primary School, near Fordingbridge, which has 68 children on its roll.
Organiser Mark Wilesmith, from the New Forest village of Hyde, said: "I've been a fan of Rolf's for a great many years.
"I wrote to his management company saying a signed photo for the auction would be great, but something more personal would be even better.
"I was thrilled when an autographed sketch arrived in the post."
Other celebrities who have sent signed photographs and other items include Drew Barrymore, Phil Collins, Elizabeth Taylor, Sir Alex Ferguson, Sting, Dustin Hoffman and Star Wars actor Ewan McGregor.
Mr Wilesmith said he hoped the auction would raise thousands of pounds for Hyde School, which wants to spend more money on music, sports, science and the arts.
The event will be held at Burgate School, near Fordingbridge, on October 19. Tickets cost £5 and can be obtained by telephoning 01425 657301.
The Burgate is the linked secondary school for Hyde, where the head teacher is Julie Dalziell.
