EVERY bride dreams that her wedding day will be special, but for Debs Collins the event will hold a particular poignancy.
For just six weeks ago, she discovered her fiance, Tim Neale, is dying of cancer.
The 38-year-old is suffering from small cell carcinoma - cancer of the skin which lines the internal organs of the body - and has been told by doctors that they do not know how long he has left to live.
The couple, from Priory Road in St Denys, Southampton, had been planning to tie the knot later next year but decided to bring the date forward to today.
Friends and family have been rallying round to help them get everything ready for the big day at Southampton Register Office.
