IF YOU'RE a punkster looking for a good thrash this weekend then the Hobbit, Portswood is the place to be.
Saturday sees nine bands from all over the country appear where punk, rock and a whole host of alternative styles of music combine in a day of musical mayhem.
The fun begins at mid-day with the line-up including Mafia vs Ninja from Thirsk, If All Else Fails and 3 Man Pit from Portsmouth, Gorgeous and Last under The Sun from Birmingham, Forenzics from Lancaster and Freaks Union from Hull, with Southampton's very own punk metallers Harsh headlining.
"It's great to get loads of bands together playing all day in Southampton," says Harsh band member and event organiser Jon Kempsey.
"Harsh have been on two UK tours and we have played with the majority of bands on the bill at the Hobbit so I can personally guarantee everyone will have a good time or their money back!" Says Jon. Maybe it's lucky the admission is free in that case!
The Hobbit, Southampton, October 12. Free entry.
