ST JOHN'S B team were the winners of a primary schools six-a-side soccer competition organised by students from Queen Mary's College.
Seven local primary schools sent two Years 5 and 6 teams each and all the A and B teams were split into two groups.
St John's were the B-team winners and Rucstall the A-team winners and they played off in a final, which St John's won 3-1.
The tournament, on the college astroturf pitches, was organised by six students - Lawrence Oldroyd, Gary Cass, Nick Brays, Toby Harris, Kate Cocking and Matt Doel - as part of their leisure and recreation studies.
