MORE than a fifth of healthcare trust staff in Winchester and Eastleigh do not enjoy or are uncertain if they enjoy their current jobs, according to a survey.
A total of 41 staff reported having been bullied or physically or verbally assaulted, and two reported being sexually harassed at work.
The findings come in a personnel report filled in by support staff such as housekeepers, caterers and porters for the Winchester and Eastleigh Healthcare NHS Trust.
It showed nine per cent, or 21 members of staff, indicated they did not enjoy their job, with 14 per cent, or 32 members of staff, saying they were uncertain about whether they enjoyed their work.
But 89 per cent surveyed agreed that their department did a good job for patients, clients, and other staff in the trust.
Director of personnel Vicki Fletcher said: "I think the lengths the trust has gone in encouraging staff to put forward their concerns may reflect an increased openness rather than a worsening position at work."
