THE MAYFLOWER'S latest show is still making a big splash with audiences.
But Singin' in the Rain is a show with a difference.
As well as all the big musical numbers, stunning dance routines and colourful costumes we expect from a top quality musical, the show also has special water effects, bringing seasonal downpours right on to the stage.
But the storm clouds will part, thanks to plenty of sunshine and song, including all the hit songs from the original MGM musical, such as Make 'em Laugh, Good Morning, You are my Lucky Star and Singin' in the Rain.
The show is set in the time when talkie movies began to take over from silent pictures, resulting in a big upheaval for the stars.
But this is Hollywood, the land where anything can happen and everything will be all right in the end.
