PUPILS at Balksbury Infant School enjoyed their first taste of the world of journalism when they interviewed tenants from the sheltered housing scheme in Hanover Close, Andover.
The youngsters from year two were asking questions about the tenants' memories of the 1953 Coronation and looked at memorabilia from the occasion to get inspiration for their stories. Headteacher Patricia Murley said: "It was a fantastic time for the two different age groups and was great to see young and old coming together. The children asked super questions."
The 'reporters' will be using their notes to write articles for the newspaper which has just started at the school.
