ANDOVER and District Age Concern is combining jubilee celebrations with the D-Day anniversary.
On Thursday 6 June the group's Town Mill House Centre will be open for a celebration open day from 10am until 3pm.
"It will be a great opportunity to commemorate 50 years of the Queen's reign and 6 June is also the anniversary of the D-Day landing," said chief officer Brian Page.
"Age concern is calling on veterans who took part in D-Day to join them at the celebration day and give their reminiscences."
The event will include free refreshments and a variety of live and taped music for older people.
